Wired, Wired World

Making ministry a little E-asier.

» Get Down to Business

We dreaded business meetings—long discussions about issues and plans. It was a thorn in the flesh, but we decided to pluck that thorn. We now share many of the items we would have discussed in the business meeting in an e-mail newsletter. The results were surprising. Members feel more informed and information is flowing freely. And our ministries are moving forward faster than ever.

» The Missions ‘Blog

To engender a “World Christian” vision at our church, one of the missions committee members started a monthly e-mail newsletter. It includes snippets of messages from our missions partners, web addresses of missions sites, and links to articles that support a monthly theme. About half the 500 members of our downtown congregation signed up for the newsletter. Read our newsletter.
