A Dog Is not a Lion

A Chinese zoo's "African lion" was exposed as a fraud when the dog used as the substitute king of the beasts started barking. The "lion" was actually a Tibetan mastiff, a large and long-haired breed of dog. One customer complained, "The zoo is absolutely cheating us. They are trying to disguise the dogs as lions." Apparently the zoo also put a white fox in a leopards' den. One zoo official claimed that their lion had been taken to a breeding facility and the dog was just a temporary solution.
