This organization also provides a hotline that offers updates on medical facts, treatment, legislation, and ways churches can respond. The number is 1-900-INF-AIDS (463-2437) and costs $.99 per minute.

The AIDS Information Clearing House (1-800-458-5231) offers publications from the United States government and information on community-based organizations.

The Centers for Disease Control also offer free government publications and information on testing and counseling centers nationwide. The phone number is 1-800-342-AIDS.
