Already a hit Down Under, Australia’s Nathan Tasker recently moved to Nashville in hopes of impacting America. Connecting with the production team of Charlie Peacock, Jason Ingram and Rusty Varenkamp was a solid place to start, resulting in timeless coffeehouse pop with innovative instrumental variety and introspective songwriting. Earthy acoustics and folk-tipped guitars support Tasker’s warm vocals (similar to Peacock’s) and are often times backed by sunny harmonies. His lyrics are vulnerable (albeit at times redundant), weighing temporary discomforts against eternal destiny.
