Top tracks: “The Body of Christ,” “The Wonder of Kindness,” “Made to Love”

Veteran CCM artist Geoff Moore returns from a four-year recording break to invite listeners into a more intimate musical experience. Saying Grace focuses on some of the simplest, truest blessings—family, forgiveness, kindness, love—with warmth and familiarity. While Moore’s strong, earthy voice is perfectly highlighted on sparser tracks like “Body of Christ,” orchestration through much of the album gets in his way. A more acoustic approach would show off his voice and songwriting without drowning in typical pop arrangements.
