Greg Haugen: Bravery Not Safety

Bravery in the face of evil.

Leadership Journal July 2, 2012

The world is full of unspeakable evil. As the president of International Justice Mission, Gary Haugen gets to see it up close. Here he tells the story of two young girls brutalized in a brothel in Cambodia. But through the courage of an IJM worker, they were rescued and restored to wholeness. Haugen reminds us that God calls us to bravery in the face of evil, not saftety. And when we choose to follow Jesus’ dangerous call, we become witnesses of his glory.
