This issue has a focus on Christian education in the articles by Larry Richards and David Kucharsky and an editorial on the good example set by the best-known Sunday-school pupil in the country.
Our hearts go out to the suffering Christians and non-Christians in Uganda who have faced the savage threats and murderous intent of Idi Amin. Festo Kivengere, an Anglican bishop whose words have appeared in this magazine previously, talks about Uganda in this issue. He was marked for death, but he and his wife escaped Amin’s trap in a providential way. Kivengere is a product of the East Africa Revival and is a powerful preacher of the Word. Hear him and pray that the door will open for his return to his native land.
