Editor’s Note from May 06, 1977

An issue dated April 1 is made to order for a writer like our anonymous correspondent Eutychus, and he had a good time in his column for that date. But as often happens, a few readers didn’t catch the tongue-in-cheekness of it all. Let us set the record straight: CT’s board of directors has not “rescinded its decision to move the evangelical fortnightly to Carol Stream, Illinois” and decided to locate it instead in “Bogalusa, Alabama, where property values and salaries are lower.” We expect to move to Carol Stream around June 20. Our news department, however, will remain in Washington.

The CT archives are a rich treasure of biblical wisdom and insight from our past. Some things we would say differently today, and some stances we've changed. But overall, we're amazed at how relevant so much of this content is. We trust that you'll find it a helpful resource.
