North America Kent L. Henning has been named president of the Des Moines, Iowa-based Grand View College, which is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

G. Edwin Zeiders, former director of the Pennsylvania Conference of the United Methodist Church, has been elected president of United Theo logical Seminary in Dayton, Ohio.

David van Vuuren has been named World Relief’s Chief Operating Officer, a new post created to help manage resources in the growing international relief organization. A native of South Africa, van Vuuren has worked as World Relief’s Africa Regional Director since 1995.

Richard Cizik, Washington director of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE), has been appointed NAE Vice President for Governmental Affairs. The NAE has also appointed John N. Mendez to the newly created position of Vice President of Ministry Development.

Greg Livingstone, founder and general director of the Frontiers missions agency, is retiring, with plans to teach at Fuller Theological Seminary for a year. Livingstone’s post will be filled by Rick Love acting as International Director and Robert Blincoe as U.S. Director.
