She may live in Manchester, England, but singer/songwriter/pianist Ruth Hill is plugged into American pop and worship trends. Her vertical songwriting is shaped through a humble demeanor and stripped down instrumentation. She’d be right at home musically on the Lilith Fair, blending airy piano arrangements with acoustic guitars, though lyrically she leans closer to the Passion movement’s creative spark. Enchanting on all levels, Hill locks her focus upward with soul-stirring words and arrangements.
