Spread across 13 cities—including Addis Ababa, Guatemala City, Nairobi, and Jakarta (above)—in 8 countries, attendees worked on more than 120 apps that would, among other things, match refugees with hosts, teach the faith via children’s games, avoid pornography, and place aspiring chefs in church kitchens.
