A Christian resident of Maghar, Israel (near Nazareth), after Druze neighbors rioted and caused $35 million in damage to 180 cars and 125 stores and homes. The riot was sparked by a false rumor that a Christian teen had posted pornographic images of a Druze woman.

“They came up behind and shot her in the back with no warning. To me, that’s murder.”

John Luttig, father of American Veronica Bowers, who was mistakenly shot to death when the Peruvian Air Force fired on the missionary plane she was flying in during an antidrug program in 2001. In February, the U.S. Justice Department said it was dropping an investigation of the shooting, and that the CIA employees who approved the shooting, now in senior positions, would not be charged.
