Peter J. Bradley, formerly with the American Bible Society, is the new president of the Colorado Springs-based International Bible Society.

Wanda Lee has been named the seventh executive director of the 111-year-old Woman’s Missionary Union.

Carl F. H. Henry, 87, received the Mark O. Hatfield Leadership Award from the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities for his leadership and scholarship within evangelicalism. Henry was the first editor of CHRISTIANITY TODAY.

David Moberg returns to Word Publishing as executive vice president, publisher, and chief operating officer. Moberg previously spent ten years at Word before leaving to establish a consulting firm.

Charles Schulz, 77, died from colon cancer on February 12, one day before the publication of his last original “Peanuts” comic strip. “Peanuts” is the most widely syndicated comic strip in history (CT, Feb. 7, 2000, p. 24).

Stephen Board, owner of Wheaton, Illinois-based Harold Shaw Publishers since 1990, will leave the company after its acquisition by Waterbrook Press in Colorado Springs. The purchase expands the religion division of Random House.

Larry Mercer has joined Moody Bible Institute as vice president of church ministries, a newly created position aimed at serving pastors.
