Over the course of five studio albums, Hawk Nelson has made the jump from wide-eyed dreamers to veterans of the pop/punk scene. The band remains one the genre’s most catchy and consistent, and here, the Ian Eskelin-produced Crazy Love marks the band’s most mature offering—and most upfront about its faith—to date. The album title is gleaned from the popular Francis Chan book of the same title, a book that frontman Jason Dunn says “made me realize how much God loves each and every one of us. We are called to live in and practice that same ‘crazy’ love.”
