How ministries advocate for more prison reform.

A Prison Fellowship (PF) program in Minnesota reduced recidivism rates and saved prisons more than $3 million, says a recent study from Baylor University's Byron Johnson. InnerChange participants' employment and earnings saw big jumps too. Meanwhile, Congress named a $1 million prison reform task force for PF founder Charles Colson (who died in 2012). PF's Craig DeRoche says the task force has the potential to take prison reform "beyond catchy sound bites and overused sports metaphors."
