VII Haiku

1/

retracing our steps
snowflakes not waiting
for warmer days

2/

humming for her grandson
tunes before any of us were
alive

3/

gram's funeral
spring's wild flowers showing
their colors

4/

melting thru
colors fallen leaves show
the first snow

5/

crossing paths
puddles the rain can't make
deeper

6/

gaps
in the cloud cover
the ball kicked out of bounds

7/

light-years wider
vines keeping the squash
within reach
