Inspiring believers’ thirst for God’s Word through music, Hammond alternates verse-based tunes musically indicative of his gold-selling catalog with laid-back R&B tracks imbedded with spoken word Bible recitations. Though avant-garde for Hammond, Life in the Word will likely appeal to his large listening base and gospel fans interested in scripture-heavy messages.
