My staff and I had a long interview-type discussion with five Christian college presidents several weeks ago. The fruit of that discussion will appear in our pages later, but I wanted to share my personal reactions with our readers. We need Christian colleges desperately, and higher education is a vital necessity for the Christian Church. We should pray for our Christian colleges, support them with our money, direct students to them, and encourage them to provide us with information filtered through a Christian world and life view that will help us to face the future realistically and unafraid.1
