Carla Waterman

Dr. Carla Waterman is a professor, mentor and writer whose work reflects upon the intersection of worship, spiritual formation and every day life. Carla has been mining the riches in this corner for the past 15 years and holds teaching affiliations at Wheaton College, Northern Seminary and the Robert E. Webber Institute of Worship Studies.

During the last decade Carla has served in the trenches of two churches and has walked alongside many sisters and brothers in their growing life of faith. At present she is peacefully engaged in a season of writing, and her forthcoming book is entitled All is Well: Feminine Graces in the Formation of Faith.

Carla lives with Wyatt, her husband of 26 years, and Ethan, their 16 year-old son, in the western suburbs of Chicago. When she's not reading, teaching or having tea with a friend, she has a grand piano in her living room that she loves to play. Her son would prefer she sell it and buy him an Infiniti, but he isn't winning this one.
