Kay Arthur's enthusiastic, practical approach to the biblical texts has drawn thousands to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Her renowned distinguished Christian character, Bible teaching, inductive study books, and national radio and television programs continue to touch innumerable lives with her passion to establish people in God's Word and to teach them to discover truth for themselves. Kay's fervor for the Lord is driven by remembrance of her humble beginnings. In August 2007 Kay received a Doctor of Humane Letters from Tennessee Temple University located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She and her husband, Jack Arthur, serve as cofounders and co-CEO of Precept Ministries International.

Precept Ministries International began as a small Bible study for teens in 1970. Now there are Precept inductive Bible study groups in all 50 states, with materials in nearly 150 countries and nearly 70 languages. She has authored more than 100 books and Bible studies with over 5 million in print. Four of her books have received the prestigious Gold Medallion, including A Marriage Without Regrets; International Inductive Study Bible; His Imprint, My Expression; and Lord, I Need Grace to Make It.

Kay is the teacher and host of Precepts for Life daily half-hour radio and daily and weekly television broadcasts, reaching a potential viewing audience of more than 94 million households worldwide.
