Sue Edwards

Dr. Sue Edwards loves to see women of all ages and stages thrive in community and bond around God's Word. She brings over 30 years experience as a Bible teacher, overseer of a megachurch women's ministry, and author. As Assistant Professor of Christian Education, specializing in ministry to women, at Dallas Theological Seminary, she has the opportunity to equip men and women students for future ministry all over the world. As Pastor to Women at Irving Bible Church, she worked with women from all walks of life and various age groups. Her passion is to see modern and postmodern men and women connect and learn from one another.

She is the co-author of Mixed Ministry, Working Together as Brothers and Sisters in an Oversexed Society, New Doors in Ministry to Women, A Fresh Model for Transforming Your Church, Campus, or Mission Field and Women's Retreats, A Creative Planning Guide. The Sue Edwards Inductive Bible Study Series was launched in the summer of 2007 featuring Proverbs, Ancient Wisdom for a Postmodern World; Daddy's Girls, Discover the Wonder of the Father; and Ephesians, Discover Your Identity and Purpose in Christ . Her new book Leading Women Who Wound, Strategies for Effective Ministry , will be released in February 2009.

Sue has a Doctor of Ministry from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Boston and a Masters from DTS. Married for 36 years, she and David are the parents of two married daughters, Heather and Rachel, and the proud grandparents of Becca, Luke, Caleb, and Will. They enjoy walking with their westie, Wallace, along neighborhoods canals near their Dallas home.
