Hannah’s Sisters

“At a Washington Assembly of God, prayers for fertility are answered.”

In 1990, Cedar Park Assembly of God in Bothell, Washington, began setting aside Presentation Sunday (Luke 2:21-38) as a time to pray for infertile couples. Twelve years later, more than 150 couples credit the service for their new children. Couples from around the world have attended, but Senior Pastor Joe Fuiten is particularly surprised by the Muslims and Buddhists who have sought out the church. This year, Cedar Park has united with 14 other area churches (including PCUSA and Episcopal congregations) for special Presentation Sunday Prayer Services.
