Evangelistically minded music workshops are also reviving traditional Tibetan music, attempting to undo the effects of churches requiring only the Nepali language. But Nepalese Tibetans and others are hearing the gospel through more contemporary means, too: Last year, state-run Radio Nepal aired Christian programs for the first time.
