DiedDana Key, half of legendary Christian rock duo Degarmo & Key, on June 6 in Tennessee. He was 56

AppointedTom Lin, as director of the Urbana Student Missions Conference. Lin, currently an InterVarsity regional director, starts in February.

DiedWinston Crawley, primary architect of modern Southern Baptist missions, on June 14 in Virginia. He was 90.

DiedJohn Wooden, famous UCLA basketball coach known for his Christian witness, on June 4 in California. He was 99.

DiedJimmy Dean, Baptist country singer best known for his sausage brand, on June 13 in Virginia. He was 81.

DiedPamela Jolicoeur, president of Concordia College, on June 9 following a stroke. She was 65.

ElectedGlenn Burris Jr., as president of Foursquare Church. He has served as the Pentecostal denomination’s interim president since September.

AppointedDavid Norman, as president of embattled Erskine College. Norman is currently a higher education consultant at Best and Associates in Dallas.

DiedRon Hembree, president of Cornerstone TeleVision Network, on June 10. He was 72.

AppointedMichael Jinkins, as president of Louisville Presbyterian Seminary. He was previously academic dean at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

DiedKevin Leibensperger, bishop of the Evangelical Congregational Church, in a June 1 car crash in Pennsylvania. He was 54.
