Fear Not—Matt Lamb

Chicago-born Matt Lamb owned and operated Blake-Lamb funeral homes until 1987, when he was diagnosed with a terminal illness. Because he had always wanted to be an artist, Lamb gave up undertaking and began to paint. He was well into a successful career as an artist when doctors told him they had made a mistake in the diagnosis.
