AppointedStephanie Summers, as CEO of the Center for Public Justice, where she had served as COO. Gideon Strauss, who had been CEO since 2009, will serve as senior fellow.

ResigningJohn Green, from his role as founder of Emmaus Ministries. He will remain as Counsel to the Board of Directors.

DiedMichael Wenning, close friend and former pastor to President Ronald Reagan, on June 28 in California. He was 75.

DiedJoseph E. Mortimer, Jr., founder and publisher of Voices for the Unborn, on July 1 in Pennsylvania. He was 80.

NamedCharisse Gillett, as Lexington Theological Seminary’s 17th president. She is the first woman and the first African American to hold the position.
